Architectural Lead (Data Center)

What you will do

• Own the architectural workstream across a multi-site development portfolio from concept through construction.
• Lead masterplan and campus layout, including building positioning, service access, and security zoning.
• Develop and maintain architectural basis of design, prototype drawing packages, and master specifications.
• Manage external architects and engineers of record, enforcing standards and tracking quality across concurrent projects.
• Lead permitting strategy and ensure compliance with IBC, IFC, NFPA, and state codes.
• Oversee building envelope design in compliance with FM Global requirements.

Requirements

• Must be based in Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA.
• Proven experience owning architectural workstreams for data centers or mission-critical facilities as an owner's representative.
• Deep knowledge of IBC, IFC, occupancy classification, egress, and fire-rated assembly design.
• Experience managing external architects and engineers through full design lifecycles.
• Ability to author owner-side design standards and basis of design documents.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Licensed Architect.
• Experience with hyperscale data center or large-scale industrial development.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procore, or ACC.
• LEED AP certification.
