Banking Specialist - Corporate Actions Processing DE

Location: Kurfürstendamm 21, 10719 Berlin, Germany; hybrid and flexible working available.

What you will do

• Monitor, plan, and execute daily corporate action activities in line with client service-level agreements.
• Track corporate action events and instruction deadlines.
• Prepare and release instructions to custodians.
• Book voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, including withholding and foreign withholding tax.
• Reconcile cash and securities differences arising from corporate actions.
• Handle inquiries from custodians and clients.

Requirements

• First professional experience in a bank back office.
• Flexibility, willingness to learn, and the ability to work independently in a demanding, fast-paced, complex environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Full professional fluency in German and very good English skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with corporate actions.
• Knowledge of the hirify.global Core Banking System.
• Proficiency in additional languages.
