AVD Operations Intern (Fintech)

hirify.global provides an Investment API and operational infrastructure that enables fintechs and financial institutions to offer investment and pension products.

What you will do

• Support day-to-day operations for the Altersvorsorgedepot (AVD), including contract registration with the ZfA, contribution management, annual bonus applications, and payment reconciliation.
• Help design and document operational workflows, step-by-step playbooks, and error catalogues for the product launch.
• Investigate recurring ZfA errors, reconcile payments and records, and identify root causes for repeated issues.
• Prepare clear and accurate answers for partner support teams handling customer questions about subsidies, transfers, and payouts.
• Identify manual, slow, or error-prone processes and suggest opportunities for improvement and automation.

Requirements

• Fluent German at C1 level or above is required; comfortable working in English.
• Currently studying Business, Economics, Finance, Law, or a related subject, or taking a gap year between degrees.
• Structured, precise, curious about regulations, and comfortable working with ambiguity.
• Confident using spreadsheets.
• Based in Berlin and available for at least 4 months; 6 months preferred.

• Previous exposure to financial services, operations, or a regulated environment.
