AI Engineer (ML/LLM)

What you will do

• Build and deploy ML and LLM systems to forecast build timelines and extract structure from vendor documents.
• Own models end-to-end, from problem framing and data collection through to production deployment and iteration.
• Develop agentic systems with robust guardrails, authorization, and audit capabilities.
• Partner with data engineering and product teams to integrate predictive insights into internal operational tools.

Requirements

• Must be based in Austin, TX; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Seattle, WA.
• Proven experience shipping ML or LLM features to production and maintaining them post-launch.
• Experience building evaluation harnesses for model quality assessment.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, fine-tuning, or retrieval systems.
• Ability to write production-quality code and work fluently with AI coding tools.

Nice to have

• Experience with forecasting or scheduling problems.
• Background in document extraction at scale.
• Familiarity with agentic frameworks, MCP, or temporal/workflow engines.
