TL;DR
Quality Director (Manufacturing): Leading quality and EHS strategy for a high-efficiency moulding and production site, integrating innovation with mass-production excellence with an accent on defect elimination, safety, organizational development, and global process alignment. Focus on driving transformational change, managing large cost and investment budgets, developing senior leadership teams, and coordinating quality initiatives across manufacturing sites.
Location: Based in Billund, Denmark. An assigned primary workplace is required, with the hybrid work policy averaging three days per week in the office. Relocation support is not offered.

What you will do
- Set the direction for quality and EHS and drive execution through the leadership team.
- Build and develop a diverse, high-performing organization, including senior leaders and specialists.
- Partner with the site leadership team and lead customer audits, complaints, and defect-elimination efforts.
- Align QEHS initiatives and organizational development with business strategy, serving as EHS Chairman for EHS Team Production and running the Q-EHS wheel.
- Manage a cost budget of 30 million DKK and an investment budget of 5–10 million DKK.
- Lead global knowledge-sharing, equipment-development, and process-alignment initiatives across sites.
Requirements
- Several years of experience as a transformational leader managing change and operational transformations.
- Experience managing quality and safety in a factory or large-scale manufacturing setting.
- Industrial manufacturing experience, ideally in the automotive industry.
- Expertise in supply chain management, quality processes, failure analysis, problem solving, and LEAN.
- Strong people-management and organizational-development skills, with excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to travel for more than 10 days per year to support global alignment.
Nice to have
- Certifications or expertise in IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, VDA 6.3 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Black Belt, or Certified Safety Professional.
