Mid-Level/Lead Software Engineer: Fullstack (Java/React)

Location: Hybrid; candidates must live within close proximity to a hub in Bloomington, Illinois; Dunwoody, Georgia; Richardson, Texas; or Tempe, Arizona, and work both from home and in the office.

Salary: $85,500–$150,000 per year, plus potential incentive pay of up to 15% of base salary.

hirify.global provides insurance and financial services and operates the Enterprise License Management product used to manage producer and adjuster licenses and appointments.

What you will do

• Build, evolve, and support the Enterprise License Management product across the full technology stack.
• Develop Java and Spring Boot microservices, RESTful APIs, and React user interfaces.
• Design and query PostgreSQL and DB2 data models, including JSONB data.
• Support AWS cloud migration, tenant accounts, and Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS environments.
• Maintain infrastructure-as-code and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide production support, monitoring, and incident response.

Requirements

• Experience with Java, JavaScript or TypeScript, React, Spring Boot, RESTful API development, SQL, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and DB2, including JSONB querying and data modeling.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, ROSA, GitLab CI/CD, and application monitoring tools such as Dynatrace.
• Strong ownership, communication, adaptability, and comfort working in an agile environment.
• Experience using AI tools in engineering work.
• Must be eligible to work lawfully in the United States immediately; visa sponsorship is not available.
