Fullstack Developer (React/Java)

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Austin, TX (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

What you will do

• Design, build, and support scalable fullstack solutions for customer-facing web applications.
• Develop responsive and accessible UI components using React.
• Build and enhance backend APIs and services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Partner with product and design teams to deliver features like vehicle information and account management.
• Contribute to technical design, architecture planning, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective engineering fixes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3-5 years of professional software development experience.
• At least 3 years of experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience modernizing legacy applications to React.
• Familiarity with micro-frontend patterns and design systems.
• Experience with cloud-native development and observability.
• Background in customer identity or account-related digital products.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
