Fleet Specialist, Hybrid

hirify.global is a European micromobility scale-up operating electric scooter services and supporting cleaner, quieter cities.

What you will do

• Collect and distribute hirify.global scooters using company e-vans.
• Search for, collect, diagnose, and repair damaged scooters and vehicles.
• Replace batteries and perform quick on-site repairs.
• Recycle and dismantle vehicles that cannot be repaired.
• Assist with accepting, packaging, and supplying new vehicles and batteries at the warehouse.
• Support field operations by clearing parking spaces, setting up fallen vehicles, and identifying damaged vehicles.

Requirements

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months, with no more than 6 points and no major offences.
• Ability and eligibility to drive a company e-van; licence checks are conducted during recruitment.
• In-depth knowledge of Cambridge and confidence driving in the city.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, motivate colleagues, and share knowledge.
• Pragmatic problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm in stressful traffic and parking situations.
• Physical ability to carry heavy loads and work in varying weather and traffic conditions; a DBS check may be required.
