Product Counsel – Equities & Tokenized Securities

Location: Asia; onsite or remote depending on the business team and work nature

What you will do

• Serve as the Legal point of contact for equities and tokenized securities products.
• Advise throughout the product lifecycle, from design and launch to ongoing operations, identifying and mitigating legal risks.
• Advise on securities, financial instruments, digital assets, AML/CFT, licensing, approvals, and product restrictions across multiple jurisdictions.
• Draft, amend, and negotiate brokerage agreements, tokenization agreements, trading terms, partner contracts, and product templates.
• Review product marketing, announcements, and social media campaigns for financial promotion and advertising compliance.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Marketing, Business Development, Customer Support, Tax, regulators, external counsel, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 8–10 years of experience in a law firm, financial services firm, or technology company.
• Strong experience with equities, securities, and stock trading products, preferably from a brokerage, investment firm, exchange, or financial institution.
• Deep knowledge of securities and financial instruments regulation, brokerage licensing, securities trading rules, and financial market infrastructure.
• Experience advising on complex, cross-jurisdictional products and working with regulatory and compliance stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Strong business acumen, proactive working style, and interest in digital assets markets.

Nice to have

• Experience with privacy, data protection, intellectual property, technology transactions, or litigation.
• Experience bridging traditional finance with tokenized securities, crypto, or Web3.
