Director Legal Counsel - Digital Assets

Location: Westlake, TX or Washington D.C., DC; on-site work required four days a week

Salary: $180,000–$280,000 per year, plus potential bonus or other incentives

hirify.global is a financial services company developing and supporting brokerage, banking, and digital asset products and platforms.

What you will do

• Provide legal advice on strategic and growth initiatives involving digital assets.
• Draft customer agreements and disclosures for new products.
• Draft and negotiate intermediary agreements with alternative investment providers and issuers.
• Advise on marketing materials, disclosures, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting digital assets and advise senior leadership and business teams.
• Partner with digital asset, strategy, operations, compliance, and legal teams to align priorities within the applicable legal and regulatory framework.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in a state bar.
• 4–7 years of legal experience at a law firm involving banking law and/or securities law for broker-dealers, investment advisers, or similar intermediaries.
• Experience supporting broker-dealer and banking platforms.
• Familiarity with federal securities laws and/or banking laws.
• Current authorization to work full-time in the United States without employer sponsorship is required.

• Experience with crypto, blockchain, or digital assets.
