Legal Counsel (Web3)

Location: United States; remote work with mandatory in-person onboarding for all new hires

hirify.global is building a digital asset platform for institutions to participate in crypto.

What you will do

• Provide strategic legal guidance from product discovery through launch for institutional trading solutions.
• Advise on crypto trading venues, prime brokers, custodians, payment rails, and related market infrastructure.
• Structure, draft, and negotiate digital asset trading, derivatives, financing, lending, margin, collateral, settlement, and ISDA/CSA agreements.
• Develop contract templates, compliance guidelines, policies, procedures, playbooks, and staff training materials.
• Partner with business, legal, compliance, and executive teams while managing external counsel and complex projects.
• Advise leadership on regulatory frameworks, reputational risks, and ongoing compliance obligations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of transactional experience reviewing and negotiating financial transaction agreements.
• Strong knowledge of laws and regulations covering spot, margin, derivatives, platform trading, prime brokerage, and digital assets.
• Experience with lending agreements, prime brokerage agreements, ISDA/CSA documentation, trade confirmations, and related disclosures.
• Ability to apply traditional financial legal concepts to digital asset business models and institutional client needs.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, independent judgment, and ability to manage multiple high-volume projects.
• Must be based in the United States; in-person onboarding is mandatory with no exceptions.

Nice to have

• Juris Doctor degree.
