Senior AI Infrastructure Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, New York City, or Salt Lake City (3 days/week in-office) or fully remote within the U.S.

What you will do

• Design and build fault-tolerant distributed infrastructure for AI agent capabilities, including memory and state management.
• Own technical architecture decisions for new agent infrastructure services from design to production.
• Develop evaluation, observability, and reliability tooling to support agent deployment.
• Collaborate with product and tax data teams to translate compliance workflows into scalable agent primitives.
• Drive engineering best practices, including testing, code quality, and operational health.

Requirements

• Must be based in the U.S.
• 3+ years of experience building and operating production-grade distributed systems.
• Proven experience designing scalable, resilient, and fault-tolerant services.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AI agents or LLM-powered systems in production.
• Familiarity with the modern AI stack, including RAG pipelines, prompt engineering, and agent orchestration.
• Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle and operational ownership.
