Platform and AI Infrastructure Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: Hybrid, based out of office hubs in San Francisco, New York City, or Salt Lake City; in-person collaboration 3 days per week

Salary: $200,000–$280,000 plus equity

What you will do

• Hire, manage, and grow the team responsible for hirify.global’s platform and AI infrastructure.
• Set product and technical strategy and drive high-quality execution.
• Write and review code alongside engineers when needed.
• Guide development of shared systems for authentication, authorization, RBAC, fine-grained access control, audit trails, and related platform capabilities.
• Identify and implement appropriate uses of AI in automations and automated workflows.
• Mentor engineers, strengthen technical culture, and contribute to engineering initiatives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams and significant experience as a software engineer.
• Strong technical acumen and an ability to guide product and technical decisions while remaining engaged with coding.
• Experience building and operating AI infrastructure beneath LLM-powered or agentic products in production.
• Experience building shared services, foundational components, and tooling for internal engineering teams.
• Demonstrated ability to help individuals and teams succeed.
• Hands-on experience experimenting with AI and building an application, workflow, or practical solution to explain in detail.
