What you will do
- Provide commercial legal advice and support to businesses across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
- Draft and review commercial contracts and support negotiations with customers.
- Advise partnership and procurement teams on commercial legal matters.
- Identify and resolve complex legal, data protection, regulatory, and business issues.
- Help design and roll out standard commercial contracting forms, product terms, playbooks, approval structures, and related processes.
- Advise on commercial requirements in product development and improve templates and governance structures.
Requirements
- Master of Laws degree.
- Qualification to practice in England and Wales with a 2026 SRA practicing certificate.
- At least four years of commercial legal experience in financial services, an in-house legal team, a UK law firm, or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation skills.
- Understanding of licensing models and how data, analytics, or technology businesses operate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
