Senior iOS Developer – Banking Applications (Fintech)

Location: Buffalo, New York, United States; four days onsite at the Seneca One Buffalo location and one day working from home each week.

Salary: $97,100–$161,800 USD annually.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain secure iOS banking applications using UIKit, SwiftUI, Objective-C, and Swift.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new mobile features.
• Use Tuist and modern build systems to streamline development workflows.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for application reliability and performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and manage technical priorities independently.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership, risk controls, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of iOS development or application development experience, with additional education and experience requirements depending on degree status.
• Advanced proficiency in UIKit, SwiftUI, Objective-C, and/or Swift.
• Experience with iOS architecture components, design patterns, and automated testing frameworks such as XCTest, Quick, or Nimble.
• Experience in banking, fintech, or another regulated industry.
• Knowledge of secure mobile development practices, including encryption, secure storage, and biometric authentication.
• Ability to work onsite in Buffalo four days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tuist or other modern build systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of accessibility and compliance standards such as ADA and WCAG.
• Experience integrating banking APIs and third-party financial services.
• Published applications in the Apple App Store.
