TL;DR
Senior iOS Developer (Swift/iOS): Building and integrating mobile applications with centralized authentication, with an accent on iOS architecture, performance, offline storage, and biometric and device capability integration. Focus on designing scalable application components, implementing MVP/MVVM patterns, and solving testing, production support, and mobile memory-management challenges.

Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; hybrid work with onsite and remote components

What you will do

  • Develop and integrate iOS mobile applications with centralized authentication services.
  • Analyze requirements, estimate sprint and release work, and create enhancement roadmaps.
  • Produce software architecture, high-level and low-level design, and nonfunctional requirement documents.
  • Apply MVP, MVVM, and related design patterns while addressing performance, offline storage, threading, and memory management.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and QA specialists on test plans, issue resolution, and validation.
  • Triage production issues, support delivery quality, and contribute hands-on code fixes in an Agile environment.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of mobile development experience and 5+ years of iOS application development experience.
  • Strong experience with Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, Xcode, iOS frameworks, and RESTful APIs with JSON.
  • Experience with MVC, MVP, and MVVM architecture patterns, offline storage, threading, performance tuning, and mobile memory management.
  • Experience with XCTest, XCUITest, component testing, unit testing, Git, push notifications, and cloud messaging APIs.
  • Knowledge of Apple's design principles, interface guidelines, web technologies, UI/UX standards, and object-oriented development.
  • Strong Agile/Scrum experience, communication skills, and ability to deliver with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries.
  • Experience with biometric authentication and device capabilities such as camera, phone state, location, notifications, and permissions.
