Manager, Data Analytics (Healthcare)

Location: New York City, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office per week. Thursdays are required in-office days, while the other two office days are flexible.

Salary: $123,372–$161,925.75 per year, plus employee benefits, unlimited PTO, and annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Evaluate data issues with external customers and internal teams, serving as the first point of contact for production issues.
• Investigate causes and business impacts of data issues across complex business processes and system architecture.
• Partner with engineering, data, customer success, and business teams to implement accurate, scalable solutions.
• Explain technical and data findings to non-technical stakeholders and present updates and resolutions.
• Define requirements for improving operational and analytical dashboards, models, and efficiency tools.
• Lead a team of data analysts and collaborate with leaders to monitor the impact of improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of technical experience using analytical tools and writing analytical reports.
• 4+ years of client-facing experience managing issues externally.
• 2+ years working with large datasets and turning analysis into relevant insights.
• 2+ years of SQL experience, including filtering, aggregation, and CTEs, or proficiency in R or Python with Pandas, loops, and statistical tests.
• 1+ years of Google Sheets or Excel experience, including VLookup, nested IF statements, and connected Sheets.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare, finance, or insurance.

Nice to have

• 2+ years preparing healthcare analytics, reporting, and data management.
• Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira.
• Proficiency in R or Python, including Pandas, loops, and statistical tests.
