Data Manager (Clinical Data Management)

Location: Hybrid, based at the headquarters in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States

Salary: $117,000–$157,000 base compensation annually

What you will do

• Oversee CRO data management deliverables, timelines, study requirements, and issue resolution.
• Generate clinical data listings, reports, summaries, and ad hoc analyses using programming and data analysis tools.
• Monitor data quality, database readiness, data cleaning priorities, query management, and protocol deviation documentation.
• Coordinate data-related deliverables with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.
• Support study data strategy, regulatory submissions, safety reviews, and interpretation of study results.
• Resolve quality issues affecting compliance, data integrity, and study progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in clinical data management or a related field.
• Proficiency with SAS, Python, and advanced Excel tools such as Power Query.
• Experience overseeing CRO data management activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement based at the Cambridge, Massachusetts headquarters.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree.
• Experience with implantable devices and Class III medical device studies.
• Familiarity with regulatory submissions and protocol amendments.
