Programm/Project Controller (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Support project managers with cost, schedule, risk, planning, controlling, and administrative activities.
• Prepare and maintain cost plans, work breakdown structures, schedules, project data, and programmatic documentation.
• Monitor progress, forecast trends and deviations, identify recovery actions, and prepare dashboards, KPIs, and management reports.
• Support procurement and industrial contract activities from tendering and negotiation through closure and financial-year close.
• Maintain project risk and opportunity registers, propose mitigation actions, and prepare risk reports.
• Contribute to programme boards, tender evaluation boards, work plans, change control, and project-control procedure improvements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering, MBA, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience controlling activities and resources in the aerospace industry, with relevant finance or accounting knowledge where required.
• Advanced MS Office and Excel skills; experience with SAP ECC and SRM is preferred.
• Ability to adapt quickly to the ESA context, corporate IT applications, and project-control procedures.
• Fluent English is mandatory. Knowledge of another European language is an advantage.

• Previous experience with ESA in relevant project-control activities.
• Familiarity with ESA corporate applications such as ESA-p.
• Knowledge of another European language.
