Senior Solution Support Engineer (Industrial Networking)

Location: Singapore, Singapore; travel across the South East Asia region is required as business needs arise.

What you will do

• Lead and execute technical support activities for industrial networking solutions across the South East Asia region.
• Work with Solution Consultants and Account Managers to present and demonstrate solutions to end-users, partners, customers, and other external stakeholders.
• Lead proof-of-concept demonstrations, plan and execute Factory Acceptance Tests, network audits, and similar customer-facing activities.
• Provide expert post-sales technical assistance remotely and on-site, serving as the main contact for support requests in the region.
• Coordinate with regional support teams, R&D, and other stakeholders to resolve support requests and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Deliver technical training and support webinars, industry trade shows, and technology-sharing events.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
• At least 3 years of experience deploying, managing, or maintaining industrial or enterprise network infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of wired and wireless IP networking, including Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and cellular communication protocols.
• Knowledge of the full TCP/IP communication stack and associated networking technologies and protocols.
• Independent and self-sufficient approach, with the ability to take initiative, manage tasks without constant supervision, and make autonomous decisions.
• Excellent critical-thinking skills for analyzing complex situations, breaking down problems, and developing effective solutions quickly.
• Strong collaboration skills and commitment to continuous learning and growth.

Nice to have

• Professional qualification in computer networking.
• Knowledge or experience with industrial protocols such as MODBUS, PROFINET, and EtherNet/IP.
• Previous experience in industrial markets such as power transmission and distribution, oil and gas, mining, transportation, or manufacturing.
