Validation & Verification Technician (Robotics & Automation)

What you will do

• Conduct performance, environmental, reliability, and compliance testing.
• Build and maintain test equipment and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot prototype and production electrical, electronic, and electromechanical hardware.
• Capture and analyse test data while supporting verification and validation activities.
• Work with external test laboratories and contribute to design reviews and technical discussions.
• Improve test processes and automation.

Requirements

• HNC, HND, apprenticeship, or equivalent engineering experience.
• Practical experience with electrical, electronic, or electromechanical products.
• Experience in an R&D or engineering environment.
• Strong fault-finding, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Hands-on approach and passion for technology.

Nice to have

• EMC testing knowledge.
• Soldering experience.
• Exposure to test automation.
• Experience with JIRA or Confluence.
• Knowledge of industry standards and compliance testing.
