System Engineer (Electrical & Electronics)

Salary: Up to £55,000 basic per year plus a 10% bonus

What you will do

• Define and document complex system architectures and frameworks for high-precision technology products.
• Design and analyse electrical and electronic systems, communication interfaces, cabling solutions, and system integrations.
• Characterise and integrate new components into existing platforms.
• Prepare requirements and verification documentation, and plan and execute validation and testing activities.
• Resolve system design issues, support prototype builds, optimise products, and contribute to architecture roadmaps and multidisciplinary design reviews.
• Develop calibration, alignment, characterisation, and test processes, supporting manufacturing knowledge transfer and training production and technical support teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• Experience in systems engineering for complex products or equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical system architecture and integration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Technical problem-solving ability and the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
