Associate, Operational Forecasting

Location: New York City office, hybrid schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week; Thursdays are required in-office

Salary: $101,844–$133,670 per year, plus benefits and annual performance bonuses

What you will do

• Build and maintain operational forecasts for volumetric demand and resourcing needs.
• Support budget estimates and periodic planning discussions using forecast outputs.
• Source, refine, and analyze data with data teams and business stakeholders.
• Generate insights for a major business unit and advise managers, senior managers, and directors.
• Present clear, concise findings that help non-technical colleagues make data-driven decisions.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, monitor initiative impact, and support strategic projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in operations forecasting.
• 2+ years of experience working with large datasets and distilling analyses into relevant insights.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL, including filtering, aggregation, and CTEs, or proficiency in R or Python with Pandas, loops, and statistical tests.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills related to business reporting impact and requirements.
• 1+ years of experience with Google Sheets or Excel, including VLOOKUP, nested IF statements, and connected Sheets.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare, investment banking, or insurance.
• Experience developing dashboards with Looker or other business intelligence and data visualization tools.
• 3+ years of technical experience using analytical tools and writing analytical reports.
