Associate, New Verticals - Flex Strategy & Operations

Location: Hybrid in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA; candidates must currently be based in one of these locations. Relocation is not offered, and fully remote work is not available.

Salary: $74,800–$110,000 USD annual base salary.

A local-commerce marketplace and delivery platform serving grocery, convenience, alcohol, retail, and DashMart customers through third-party merchants and owned operations.

What you will do

• Launch 0→1 pilots, new merchant initiatives, and in-market experiments.
• Build dashboards, manage weekly KPIs, and turn successful initiatives into scalable processes.
• Use SQL and Excel to build models, evaluate expansion opportunities, and prioritize initiatives.
• Translate consumer, merchant, and dasher needs into product requirements and operational improvements.
• Partner with product, engineering, finance, marketing, and strategy and operations teams to deliver high-priority initiatives.

Requirements

• 1–2+ years of experience in analytical and cross-functional environments; banking or consulting experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with SQL and Excel modeling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing, project-based environments.
• Must currently be based in New York or San Francisco and be able to start full-time by September 28, 2026.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking or consulting.
• Knowledge of AI tools and how to apply them to improve efficiency.
