Site Reliability Engineer

Salary: $104,431.52–$156,647.28 annual base pay

What you will do

• Analyze and forecast system capacity requirements to support scalability and performance during high-profile events.
• Participate in incident response, post-incident reviews, and corrective action implementation.
• Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting across services, including Kubernetes environments.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure, system performance, database performance, and resource utilization.
• Develop disaster recovery plans and procedures to support business continuity.
• Identify automation opportunities, maintain technical documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or an equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash, and experience with Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring tools such as Datadog or Splunk, and SQL or NoSQL database performance tuning.
• Work authorization sponsorship or immigration support is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

• CI/CD pipeline management and automated deployment experience.
• Cloud cost optimization experience.
• Front-end development experience with technologies such as React.
