Sr. Site Reliability Engineer (Playout)

Location: Hybrid in Centennial, Colorado, with office attendance required at least four days per week

Salary: $130,000–$160,000 yearly

What you will do

• Engineer, operate, support, deploy, and maintain on-premises and cloud-based playout systems.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, upgrades, monitoring, and deployment workflows.
• Deploy cloud infrastructure and playout software through CI/CD across integration, staging, and production environments.
• Identify single points of failure and implement reliable, scalable architectures.
• Create reliability metrics, monitoring deliverables, and proof-of-concept deployments for new products and architectures.
• Investigate broadcast incidents, report findings to leadership and operations, and provide rotating 24/7 on-call support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong experience with IP video, streaming, and broadcast technologies.
• Five or more years of experience deploying and maintaining modern infrastructure.
• Five or more years of experience with configuration management and automation platforms such as Ansible and Terraform.
• Expertise in hosted cloud services, networking, cloud-based network environments, containerization, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD, Linux administration, scripting languages, Agile processes, and fast-paced development environments.

Nice to have

• Experience across varied software and hardware environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
• Experience with DevSecOps principles and user interface design based on client workflows.
• Strong communication, design, problem-solving, and ownership skills.
