Universal Banker - Float (Retail Banking)

Location: Buffalo, New York, United States of America; frequent travel between designated branches is required.

Salary: $18.68–$31.14 hourly (USD)

What you will do

• Support branch customers through sales, service, digital engagement, appointments, and walk-in interactions.
• Perform teller transactions, account servicing, overdraft review, complaint resolution, and other branch operations.
• Educate customers on banking solutions, recommend products, and refer complex needs to appropriate banking partners.
• Proactively engage customers to retain and expand Consumer and Business Banking relationships.
• Follow AML, BSA, KYC, fraud escalation, internal control, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Travel between branches to provide coverage and support branch staff as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of retail sales, call center, customer service, or telesales experience.
• Ability to travel easily between branches on an as-needed basis.
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to handle difficult customer conversations and work under critical time constraints in a team environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods, use hands and fingers for extended periods, lift 5–30 pounds, read fine print, and work face-to-face with customers.
