Software Verification and Validation Engineer (Aerospace) (SCADE/Simulink, DO-178C): Verifying and validating safety-critical flight-control software through requirements analysis, test-bench execution, regression testing, and certification documentation with an accent on traceability, avionics systems, and compliance. Focus on analyzing defects and root causes, troubleshooting SCADE diagrams, executing malfunction-injection test cases, and supporting bug fixing.
Location: Donauwörth, Bavaria, Germany; mobile working possible

What you will do
- Analyze system and software requirements and maintain full traceability.
- Analyze change requests, defects, and root causes.
- Create, execute, and document test procedures on test benches within the RISE environment.
- Conduct regression testing and prepare certification evidence and compliance documentation.
- Troubleshoot using SCADE diagrams and support bug-fixing activities.
Requirements
- Experience with Automatic Flight Control Systems or other Flight Control Systems.
- Strong knowledge of SCADE or Simulink and a good understanding of avionics systems.
- Experience with test benches, including test-case initialization, malfunction injection, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in software verification and validation projects and familiarity with DO-178C and safety-critical software development.
- Business-fluent English.
