Senior Test Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end testing of robot arm software, including GUI workflows, motion commands, PLC communication interfaces, and safety functions.
• Own release, regression, localization, and multi-environment validation across versioned robot software.
• Coordinate testing activities, timelines, dependencies, and priorities across robotics, firmware, application, and functional safety teams.
• Develop and maintain scalable automated regression, smoke, and release test suites integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze test results, investigate recurring defects and performance bottlenecks, and ensure traceability between requirements and test cases.
• Mentor junior and mid-level test engineers and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechatronics, robotics, computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in test automation, system testing, validation, or verification of complex mechatronic or robotic systems.
• Strong understanding of robot arm fundamentals, including kinematics, joint and Cartesian motion, reference frames, safety limits, and operator control software.
• Strong Java skills and hands-on experience with Maven, Selenium, Cucumber/BDD, API testing, and Git.
• Experience with CI/CD, test reporting, agile cross-functional teams, task coordination, mentoring, and process improvement.
• Fluent English is required.

• Industrial automation experience.
• Familiarity with Python or C++.
