Senior Test Manager - Core Banking Platform (Fintech)

What you will do

• Define and own test strategies, test plans, resource management, and testing commitments across projects and releases.
• Lead system integration testing, end-to-end testing, and support user acceptance testing.
• Ensure coverage of functional and non-functional requirements and coordinate test execution.
• Manage defects, prioritization, resolution, risk escalation, quality gates, and release readiness assessments.
• Report testing progress, quality metrics, defects, and delivery risks to stakeholders.
• Drive test automation, CI/CD-aligned quality practices, continuous improvement, and the development of Test Leads, Test Engineers, and external testing resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Banking Technology, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or delivery management.
• Experience in core banking, wealth management, or financial services, including complex SIT, UAT, and end-to-end testing programs.
• Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles in regulated environments and experience managing distributed international teams.
• Strong ownership, stakeholder management, risk identification, and escalation skills.
• German at C2/native level and English at C2/native or near-native business proficiency are mandatory.

Nice to have

• ISTQB Advanced Level, Agile Testing, or equivalent certification.
• French at professional working proficiency.
• Additional European language skills.
