Bilingual Senior EHS Manager

Location: Austin, Texas, United States. Day shift with variable, on-call, and weekend coverage; up to 50% travel, including extended travel as needed.

Salary: $125,000–$150,000 per year.

What you will do

• Plan and implement safety policies and programs in compliance with OSHA and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• Train managers and employees in workplace safety, fire prevention, and the safe handling of chemicals, toxins, equipment, and other materials.
• Inspect facilities, identify hazards, define corrective actions, and follow up on implementation.
• Investigate accidents and injuries, prepare regulatory reports, and support hearings, legal proceedings, and insurance investigations.
• Oversee workers’ compensation administration and work with insurance carriers to reduce employee lost time.
• Drive strategic EHS plans across assigned locations and coach, develop, and mentor subordinate managers.

Requirements

• Bilingual Spanish proficiency is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field, with 5+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, safety policies, hazard assessment, accident prevention, and workplace investigations.
• Experience with supervisory responsibilities, including hiring, work assignment, performance evaluation, training, and problem resolution.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.
