Director, Business Operations & Strategy (Health Insurance)

Location: New York office, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days of in-office work per week, including Thursdays

Salary: $180,504–$236,911 per year, plus equity grants and annual performance bonuses

What you will do

• Build the long-term operational roadmap and address complex organizational challenges.
• Lead large, cross-functional work groups to optimize end-to-end program processes and improve internal visibility.
• Drive process standardization, operationalization, issue resolution, and root cause analysis with internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain executive reporting materials covering programs, projects, and strategic contracting initiatives.
• Identify operational risks and improvement opportunities, and develop and implement new programs.
• Monitor external trends and industry benchmarks to support iterative business improvements and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in operations, business strategy, or project management.
• 4+ years of experience in a high-growth environment.
• Experience leading large-scale cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong critical-thinking, information synthesis, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to develop methodologies, operational processes, and executive reporting for program execution.

Nice to have

• Management consulting experience.
• 4+ years of experience managing a team.
