Analyst, Trade Commodity Finance, Transaction Management Office

What you will do

• Manage trade commodity finance transactions and act as a contact point for clients, operational teams, and supporting departments.
• Perform independent transactional risk analysis, including assessment of collateral quality, performance risks, and facility utilisation.
• Explore risk mitigation measures and support the development of financing solutions with the Trade Commodity Finance Account Officer.
• Prepare and obtain transactional approvals while coordinating with front office, risk, and operations teams.
• Manage the full trade life cycle, including position reports, transaction exposures, collateral valuation, paper hedges, and client cash flow transactions.
• Administer approved facilities, prepare reports, monitor collateral values, and contribute to workflow improvements and ad-hoc projects.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of trade finance and good analytical skills for understanding transactional risks.
• Experience or ability to assess collateral quality, transaction exposures, and risk mitigation measures.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Hands-on, self-motivated, systematic, organised, resourceful, and comfortable working with clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborative approach and a positive attitude when handling challenging situations.
