GMP Technician, Life Science

Location: Lexington, Massachusetts, United States. Weekday shift from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

Salary: $24.90 per hour.

Provides management services supporting facility operations in life science environments.

What you will do

• Maintain assigned GMP areas in a clean and orderly condition through sanitization, wipe-downs, floor, wall, window, and shutdown cleaning.
• Follow customer and SBM SOPs, safety procedures, chemical-safety requirements, and proper PPE practices.
• Complete daily FN logs accurately and support shift leads with punch-list items, work orders, and internally identified issues.
• Respond professionally to customers and communicate with leads, supervisors, coworkers, managers, and customers.
• Complete required training, annual qualifications, safety certifications, and gowning certification for the assigned area.
• Provide area coverage when general staff shortages occur.

Requirements

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain a GMP-controlled environment safely.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment upkeep, cleaning compounds, and safe chemical use.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to follow supervision.
• Ability to lift or move up to 35 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED and 6 months to 1 year of experience are preferred; a valid driver’s license or forklift certification may be required.

Nice to have

• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
• Experience in a GMP or life science environment.
