TL;DR
Associate, Member and Provider Optimization (Health Insurance Operations): Leading cross-functional projects and improving internal operational workflows through business requirements, data analysis, project governance, and risk mitigation. Focus on designing scalable procedures, analyzing departmental performance metrics, and coordinating change management across business and technical stakeholders.

Location: Fully remote, open only to candidates residing in Atlanta, Georgia, United States; future work models may include hybrid presence at the associated metro-area hub office.

Salary: $87,188.40–$114,434.78 per year, plus annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

  • Lead end-to-end cross-functional implementations and projects, including planning, stakeholder engagement, collaboration, risk mitigation, and delivery.
  • Design, optimize, and implement operational processes and improvements.
  • Collect and document business requirements, project decisions, governance activities, and operating procedures.
  • Analyze departmental performance data and support the development of metrics and mitigation strategies.
  • Develop implementation, communication, change management, and risk mitigation strategies with partner groups.
  • Mentor team members and support colleagues’ growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in operations, health insurance, data analysis, engineering, or consulting.
  • 2+ years of experience using Excel, SQL, Python, or other data analytics tools.
  • 2+ years of end-to-end project management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience designing and improving workflows and establishing operating and technical procedures.
  • 2+ years of experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, or similar process improvement methodologies.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
