Marketing AI Intern

Location: United States - Remote

Marketing organization developing AI-enabled agents, workflows, connectors, and internal tools for marketing operations.

What you will do

• Build and improve custom AI agents and agentic workflows for field marketing, content, digital marketing, and marketing operations.
• Automate marketing processes by integrating AI with Zapier, MCP connectors, LLMs, Marketo, Salesforce, 6sense, and other martech systems.
• Build and maintain MCP connectors that provide secure, structured access to marketing applications.
• Develop shared prompt libraries, skills, brand voice frameworks, and usage guardrails.
• Deliver projects from the marketing AI backlog, evaluate AI tools, and explore RAG, multimodal AI, and advanced agent designs as stretch projects.
• Run office hours, document learnings, and help marketing colleagues adopt new tools.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in computer science, engineering, data science, or a similar technical field, or equivalent self-taught ability.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs such as Claude, GPT, or Gemini beyond casual chatbot use.
• A personal project to demonstrate, such as a script, bot, automation, class project, or weekend hack.
• Ability to read and write code in Python, JavaScript, or a similar language and work with APIs and technical documentation.
• Fast learning, initiative, persistence, and clear communication with non-technical marketing stakeholders.
• Genuine interest in marketing and go-to-market operations; prior marketing experience is not required.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Zapier, n8n, CRM, marketing automation, analytics, or other martech systems.
• Experience with multimodal AI, including image generation, video, or audio synthesis.
