Process Support Engineer (Display PVD)

Location: Hefei, China; travel required 75% of the time; relocation eligible

What you will do

• Provide customer support through on-site installations, system diagnoses, service, and repair of complex semiconductor equipment.
• Work with customers and R&D teams to develop advanced manufacturing processes, including Physical Vapor Deposition.
• Create hypothesis experiments and design of experiments, analyze data statistically, and prepare reports with technical conclusions.
• Troubleshoot complex process and equipment issues, conduct root cause analyses, and resolve customer product problems.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and customers, building relationships and establishing trust.
• Support junior colleagues, act as a liaison with the business unit, and lead small projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, materials engineering, electrical engineering, optoelectronics, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in the semiconductor fabrication or equipment industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to explain sensitive information and build consensus.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
