Equipment Technician (Medical Equipment)

Location: Braselton, Georgia, United States

Salary: $14.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM

What you will do

• Clean and disinfect medical equipment using approved disinfectants and infection control procedures.
• Maintain department par levels, read inventory forms, and obtain supplies through the Stock Acquisition Process.
• Transport equipment with a pushcart and maintain the assigned work area.
• Complete daily schedules, punch-list items, and assignments during staff shortages.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions while following safety rules, company procedures, and hospital policies.
• Communicate professionally with hospital staff, customers, supervisors, and coworkers.

Requirements

• Ability to walk or stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to read inventory forms, instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment care, cleaning compounds, and safe chemical use.
• Completion of all required safety and task training certifications; no specific education is required.
