NPI Project Lead (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Linkou, Taiwan; onsite at the Linkou Factory, Monday to Friday. Flexible remote participation is supported for some evening meetings with global stakeholders.

What you will do

• Lead NPI projects from planning through qualification, production ramp-up, and manufacturing release.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities across Development & Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, and other stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
• Ensure manufacturing readiness for new products, modules, engineering changes, and industrialization activities.
• Facilitate project reviews and stakeholder alignment, communicate status and decisions, and drive timely issue resolution.
• Improve NPI processes, manufacturing performance, and future industrialization projects through lessons learned and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, manufacturing, industrial, systems engineering, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 5–10 years of experience in project or program management, NPI, manufacturing engineering, industrialization, product engineering, or a related function.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with end-to-end ownership in manufacturing, factory, production, semiconductor, semiconductor equipment, or another high-tech industrial environment.
• Strong project planning, stakeholder management, risk management, analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Technical aptitude covering engineering concepts, manufacturing processes, product architecture, and technical project risks.
• Fluent English communication and presentation skills; willingness to collaborate across time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience with NPI, industrialization, manufacturing transfer, engineering change implementation, qualification, ramp-up, or production introduction projects.
• Background in semiconductor equipment, electronics manufacturing, automation, mechatronics, system integration, or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience working between Development & Engineering and Manufacturing teams as a technical lead, project lead, or engineering interface.
• Knowledge of project governance, change management, manufacturing readiness reviews, qualification processes, and production ramp-up management.
• Experience driving process improvement, manufacturing optimization, operational excellence, or productivity initiatives.
