Waste Water Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Location: New Oxford, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $29.31 per hour, plus an annual bonus based on plant performance metrics

What you will do

• Operate the wastewater treatment plant and computerized systems used to monitor treatment processes.
• Control equipment and processes that remove or destroy harmful materials, chemicals, and microorganisms from wastewater.
• Operate and maintain pumps, motors, filtration systems, and related plant equipment.
• Collect water samples, run quality tests, read meters and gauges, and adjust treatment processes and chemical levels.
• Plan emergency response protocols and address chemical leaks, oxygen deficiencies, and equipment issues.
• Maintain water quality and compliance records and follow food packaging safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–4 years of wastewater treatment experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail, sense of urgency, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to comply with company policies, food packaging safety procedures, and required annual safety training.

Nice to have

• Experience in the corrugated box industry.
