TL;DR
Senior Corrugator Training and Operations Specialist (Corrugator Operations/Manufacturing): Providing hands-on training, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement support for corrugator teams across PCA plants with an accent on OEM systems, maintenance reliability, and throughput. Focus on developing preventive maintenance standards, analyzing downtime and root causes, and supporting capital projects and equipment startups while traveling to PCA locations throughout the US.

Location: Lake Forest, Illinois, United States. Relocation is not required; willingness to travel 75% to PCA locations throughout the United States is required.

Salary: $108,500–$160,000 annually, plus an annual performance-based bonus.

What you will do

  • Provide hands-on training and operational support to corrugator teams across PCA plants.
  • Support corrugator projects, equipment startups, capital planning, and operational issue resolution.
  • Evaluate and establish preventive maintenance practices and standards for corrugators.
  • Troubleshoot steam systems, adhesives, distribution systems, mechanical systems, machine controls, and quality control systems.
  • Analyze downtime, cause and frequency data, and root causes to improve maintenance and reliability.
  • Guide continuous improvement, productivity, reliability, capability, coaching, and performance management efforts.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisory and leadership experience in corrugator operations.
  • Expert knowledge of corrugator operations, OEM systems, and machine controls.
  • Experience with training, coaching, team building, and performance management.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Strong analytical, mechanical, organizational, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical maintenance, corrugated and packaging equipment, manufacturing systems, and common software.
