Business Development Manager (Data Centre)

Location: Singapore; hybrid work with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home

Salary: SGD 12,000 per month, plus a bonus of up to one additional month’s salary. The salary is currently being double-checked and will be confirmed shortly.

hirify.global is recruiting for a data centre-focused business development role connected with Prysmian’s data centre solutions.

What you will do

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, technologies, and growth opportunities in the data centre industry.
• Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the data centre segment.
• Identify, pursue, and win new business opportunities while supporting cross-business-unit initiatives.
• Build relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, distributors, vendors, and industry partners.
• Represent the business at conferences, trade shows, networking events, and customer meetings.
• Work with technical teams on site visits, technical assessments, and solution evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, with strong marketing and commercial knowledge.
• At least 8 years of experience in a similar industry, a large system integrator, or a related technical environment.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling solutions, including Building Management Systems, access control, security, and fire safety.
• Proven experience managing relationships with vendors, end users, consultants, distributors, and partners.
• Proven hunting and business development experience, with the ability to identify and win new opportunities.
• Strong English communication and presentation skills, independence, stakeholder management skills, and Microsoft Office proficiency.

• CDCP certification.
