Sales Manager (Packaging)

Location: Palmyra, Pennsylvania, United States. Travel as necessary is required, along with a valid U.S. driver’s license. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Salary: $108,500–$175,000 per year, depending on experience. Annual bonus based on individual contribution and company performance.

What you will do

• Lead the plant sales team to achieve sales, profit, and volume goals.
• Develop and execute sales plans for assigned territories and customer accounts.
• Build and maintain customer relationships, identify revenue opportunities, and acquire new business.
• Develop packaging and design solutions based on customer needs and business operations.
• Manage forecasts, pricing, quotes, contracts, negotiations, delivery schedules, and account records.
• Recruit, coach, train, and evaluate sales representatives while resolving escalated customer service issues with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree equivalent; a business degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of direct sales experience in corrugated or sheet products, packaging, and package design.
• Experience managing people, including hiring, coaching, performance development, and corrective action.
• Knowledge of market analysis, cost estimating, pricing, negotiation, and packaging design.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and related software, including Cash Flow Management applications.
• U.S. work authorization and a valid U.S. driver’s license are required.

• Experience with sales databases.
