Business Improvement Manager

Location: Adelaide, Australia. Hybrid work from home and office and a 9-day fortnight may be considered, with face-to-face activities and in-office attendance required as needed.

What you will do

• Lead business improvement projects from opportunity identification through benefits realisation.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement to solve complex business challenges.
• Apply structured problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques.
• Coach leaders and teams in business improvement practices.
• Develop business cases, performance measures and improvement roadmaps.
• Build organisational capability through training, mentoring and practical support.

Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience leading business improvement initiatives in complex organisations.
• Proven success improving operational performance, productivity and business outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints or similar approaches.
• Experience influencing stakeholders and leading change across organisational levels.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must be an Australian citizen and hold or be able to obtain Australian Defence Security Clearance at NV1 level.

Nice to have

• Experience in defence, manufacturing, engineering, software development or other complex operational environments.
