Manager, Test Engineering (AI)

Location: Dublin, Ohio, United States; hybrid work with three days per week on-site

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop Quality Test Engineers across multiple products and initiatives.
• Manage QA planning, staffing, prioritization, capacity, execution, and release readiness.
• Define testing strategies spanning exploratory, manual, accessibility, functional, integration, regression, acceptance, API, database, performance, and release testing.
• Advance QA modernization through automation, AI-assisted testing, quality analytics, performance engineering, and modern test frameworks.
• Define quality metrics, governance practices, CI/CD quality gates, release criteria, and escalation paths for quality risks.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations/SRE, and business stakeholders to improve reliability, scalability, performance, and customer experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Library Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing QA teams supporting complex software products.
• Strong knowledge of manual, exploratory, UI, API, database validation, accessibility, functional, integration, regression, acceptance, and performance testing.
• Experience with automation frameworks and technologies such as Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Python, or Java.
• Knowledge of performance engineering, scalability, reliability, capacity planning, and load testing with tools such as K6, JMeter, BlazeMeter, or WebLOAD.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, GitHub workflows, CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Jira, quality reporting, and AI-enabled engineering tools.
