ECG Analysis Technician (Training Provided)

Location: Onsite Monday to Friday in Minneapolis, MN; candidates must reside within 50 miles of the worksite.

Salary: $18.47–$25.70 per hour

What you will do

• Process, analyze, interpret, and edit ECG cardiac data for clinical accuracy and completeness.
• Identify ECG abnormalities that meet established notification criteria and communicate them effectively.
• Build Carnation Ambulatory Monitor reports with summaries of findings and applicable ECG strips.
• Review feedback and evaluation scores for ECG reports and make required corrections.
• Consult electrophysiology mentors and expert analysis teams on difficult or advanced ECG interpretations.
• Maintain quality and productivity metrics while following workflow and reporting standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass the ECG Training Course with a score of 75% or higher and/or pass the pre-employment ECG exam.
• Pass the BDx Software Training Course after hire.
• Obtain CRAT or CCT certification through Cardiovascular Credentialing International within 12 months if not already certified.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, and work ethic.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Some college coursework or ECG certification.
• Up to three years of ECG interpretation experience with arrhythmia knowledge.
• Experience as a Holter, Event, or Telemetry Technician in an ambulatory monitoring setting.
• Current CRAT or CCT certification.
• Knowledge of cardiology and electrophysiology terminology.
