Cardiac Technician Deerfield, IL

Location: Deerfield, IL; hybrid with two days per week in-office and residence within 70 miles of Deerfield

What you will do

• Review patient ECG data and algorithm findings for clinical accuracy and complete data quality.
• Communicate ECG abnormalities to physicians when needed.
• Perform quality assurance on every report and make required modifications before final delivery.
• Develop ECG interpretation and rhythm analysis skills while meeting productivity and quality metrics.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and follow best clinical practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least one year of experience in healthcare, health insurance, medical devices, patient care, operations, laboratory work, diagnostics, or related experience, or an associate degree or relevant college coursework.
• Knowledge of cardiology-specific medical terminology and proficiency with PCs and Microsoft tools, Windows, and Outlook.
• Ability to obtain CCT certification within 120 days of hire, with a maximum of three attempts.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Successful completion of the approximately six-week hirify.global University new-hire training program and other training requirements.

Nice to have

• Two or more years of experience as a cardiac telemetry monitor technician, Holter scanner, or in another role requiring ECG interpretation.
• RN, EMT, exercise physiologist, CCT, CRAT, EKG, CNA, or equivalent training or certification.
