Manufacturing Technician (Shift Work) (Semiconductor)

Location: Singapore, SGP; onsite cleanroom work with shift work. Relocation eligible: No.

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, and parts lists.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting, and repairs under supervision and according to established procedures.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test equipment and components.
• Audit parts availability, inspect components for defects, troubleshoot issues, and improve operational processes.
• Complete job documentation and data entry, including progress, labor, and expense details.
• Perform computer programming, equipment repair, or software installation as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma, technical diploma, technical degree, certificate, or equivalent.
• Basic analytical, scientific-method, or operational-process skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, use hand and power tools, and operate or drive heavy machinery such as forklifts.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom with required personal protective equipment and distinguish between colors.

Nice to have

• Up to one year of semiconductor or display manufacturing experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
• Technical education, certifications, or specialized training.
• Experience working with standard operating procedures, scientific methods, and quality guidelines.
• AS EET or BS EET qualification, including DeVry or TSTC programs.
