CV/ML/DL Algorithm Developer (AI)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States. Relocation eligible; travel up to 10%.

Salary: $161,000–$221,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead research, design, development, and implementation of algorithmic modules.
• Evaluate computer vision and machine learning/deep learning algorithms for defect detection, classification, metrology, and image analysis.
• Investigate customer use cases, survey relevant literature, prototype algorithmic approaches, and assess feasibility.
• Collaborate with compute infrastructure, software, systems, applications, and product teams to productize algorithm solutions.
• Benchmark, profile, and optimize algorithms to reduce computational cost and guide compute hardware requirements.

Requirements

• Experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Strong background in computer vision, image processing, and deep learning.
• Expertise in C/C++ and Python.
• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or a similar framework.
• Academic background in computer vision, deep learning, machine learning, artificial intelligence, computer science, or electrical engineering.
• New PhD graduate or master's degree holder with 4+ years of experience, plus strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
