VAT Specialist (temporary contract)

Location: Krakow, Poland; hybrid work with a minimum of 47 remote-work days per year and flexible working hours.

What you will do

• Prepare VAT returns for multiple jurisdictions across EMEA.
• Prepare Intrastat reports, EC Sales Lists, and other VAT-related reports.
• Ensure accurate and timely VAT reporting and perform VAT reconciliations.
• Support finance, tax, customs, and external service providers on VAT matters.
• Support the implementation of new legal requirements.
• Help design standardized procedures and continuous improvement projects in the EMEA region.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in VAT and accounting, preferably in a shared-services or multinational company.
• Good command of English.
• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
• Fast-learning and self-driven approach.
